OH I have got some goodies for you today! My man Jesse Jamz hits us with his remix of Eli Smiths 'Party All Knight' which in all its glory will probably make you lose yr panties when it drops...pure electro madness! Its definitely my favorite track of his yet!

Eli Smith - Party All Knight (Jesse Jamz Remix)

These days I havent heard to many interesting Baltimore tracks, but my bro Joe Cruse just sent me his remix of Black Sabbath 'War Pigs' and it is something else! Plus he gave me a little mash-up of DJ Mujavas - Township Funk vs. Pase Rock & The Posse - Sexy Motherfucker.

Get Learned - J.E.S.U.S.

Tonight is the night folks, the Orlando scene will never be the same...

J.E.S.U.S. is acoming!

Ain't the purdy - A Sparkle Christ!

Yes, from the creators of the original Saturday/Thursday, which 3 years ago was the largest party in the city, comes this epic night. That team includes our very own E.Strange, the duo of Miss Fit and Justin Scott and leader of the pack, Pauly Crush. Known for throwing some of the largest indie electro-esque parties in Mickey's Backyard, including a night in Tampa and another in Orlando, Pauly is filling a oh so large gap in Orlando dance scene as well as our hearts - bringing shit back to Thursday nights.

After the debacle with the original S/T (Saturday/Thursday) and it's douchebag bastardization (bro dudes in neon...fuckall), it's nice to see a big room party again and relatively close to everyone of us in the state. Now, you may be asking yourself - "why the fuck do I care about a party in Orlando, I leave in (insert hometown here)."

Well my dear reader, this is going to be the place in Florida that people are going to be playing from now on and the place all of our sweet dj hearts should aspire to play. Huge Room, Epic Sound, Killer Following, Stellar Reputation - What more could you ask for?

And I gotta just say, Pauly and the gang have pulled out all the stops for this night, setting up a solid list of heavy hitters to come through over the next few months. Here's a brief selection from an Interview with Pauly Crush that appears in Orlando's MetroMix Magazine - http://orlando.metromix.com - talking about some of the acts rolling through...

MetroMix -You also have an awesome lineup of artists coming- Flosstradamus, Kid Sister, Steve Aoki, Diplo...
Pauly Crush -"Calvin Harris! He's a U.K. dude, fantastic new pop icon, very disco nouveau. I would put him in the same genre of Goldfrapp. You have to get his stuff, he's a one man show. He was the coup. I've played with Flosstradamus and Kid Sister before, I've played with Diplo countless times. They never disappoint, and I can tell you, Kid Sis, will be the best show you've ever seen from her, she has dancers this time. It's going to be sick. Calvin Harris is something that would rarely come to, dare I say, a place like Orlando. He's playing Paris, he's playing Miami, New York, he's playing L.A. He's playing Miami because it's Winter Music Conference. Otherwise, you're not going to see him anywhere else. People are driving across the state to see Calvin Harris here. I absolutely adore him. That's the one I'm most excited for.
"

In honor of the very first night, featuring Kid Sister and Flosstradamus, here are some tracks likely to be heard tonight... (not all are high quality, I apologize) Also check out the J.E.S.U.S. for more info on who's coming in the next few weeks and causing me to take days off work and begin road trips. http://www.jesusrulz.com/

Tittsworth Ft. Kid Sister & Pase Rock - WTF (Nadastrom on Drugs Remix)

Heartsrevolution - C.Y.O.A. (Flosstradamus Remix)

Kid Sister - Pro Nails (Tepr Remix)

Flosstradamus (Young Josh) - Act a Fool (Ravestradamus)

Kid Sister - Switch Board

Kid Sister - Girlie Rock (Flosstradamus Remix)

and yes, J.E.S.U.S. is an acronym but don't know what it means - any guesses?

Tasty Thursday!

I feel it is my blogging duty to warn you good folks that the post today is not for the faint of heart or party. Today's collection of inbox goodness are not your run of the mill dance music tracks, these jams are each a heavy, blood pumping experience... The collection of them in a single post poses possible side affects to ones health - like one of those ridiculous sampler platters at your favorite brand restaurant. Just as tasty, but potentially just as addicting...

Please note that the "Penned Madness Dance Platter Special" comes with one energized alcohol drink of your choice and a side of "GET'M UP!" Bleu Cheese or "LET'S GO, LET'S GO!" Ranch

All the killer genres, all on one plate! We got some hard electro, some bassline, some bmore, some clunk hits, and of course some remixes of classics! Come on down to The Penned Madness Dance Corral and get yourself some "FUCK YEA!"

Join me as I dig in@!@!

-------------------------------------------------------------------

First to put me in the mood, I choose to start out with some goodness from Quix Vs. Elliot...

Outkast vs. I.M.Elliot vs. QUIX22 - Spottie Ottie (I.M. Elliot vs. QUIX22 Remix)

A quite satisfying start to my journey, I decide to brave on and see what else lays before me... and that would be some "Egg Yolks Yo" by Lewis Cancut by the looks of things...

Lewis Cancut - Egg Yolks Yo

Delicious I say but I do believe I could use some libations though. A little altering of the spirit with spirits as it were. I proceed to order a DJ Barletta with Kid Cranberry on the rocks.

Kid Cranberry & DJ Barletta - Get Drunk

Heavens me, I do feel a bit strange after that, light headed and surreal... I believe this is called being "Tipsy" by my good friends Teen Wolf and J-Kwon...

J-Kon - Tipsy (TEEN WOLF'S underage drinking p.s.a.)

All that drinking has seem to have made me pretty sluggish, or as the Schlachthofbronx would call it in their own special way, La Lenta...

Madera Limpia - La Lenta (Schlachthofbronx Remix)

The barbarian of a waiter nearly refuses by order of a Loud Party, I plea with his good senses and human kindness. "One More Drink," I'm told, is all I'll get tonight...

Ludacris - One More Drink (Loud Party Remix)

After my drink, suddenly, everything goes wrong. I am struck with pain. Doubling over in my chair, all I can do is grasp my torso and wince. My insides burn and throb, this Rapture happening within me is unbearable. As certain as Death+Taxes, I have never felt this way before and may never feel again...

DatA - Rapture (Death+Taxes Remix)

This is all too much, I must find some comfort... I Figure I'll just go to my happy place...
I am Jack's Body... I am Jack's Body

FIGURE - I am Jack's Body (Original Mix)

No, it's no use, Action Jackson and Smokey Robinson were right... The tears of this clown are the only bodily function in my control... I simply give up and submit to the onslaught within me...

Smokey Robinson - Tears of a Clown (Action Jackson Remix)

Head sunk deep within my mitts, stained with the color of multi-track recordings and the stench of heavy basslines, I continue to sob as a hand gently lays on my shoulder and asks in an even more gentler voice, "Something Wrong?"...

Breathing heavily, I shift my glance up at a silhouetted figure above me. I struggle through the tears and shame to make out the outline of this kind individual and the object he seems to have raised above his head.

In the same reassuring voice, the shade leans over to me as the room suddenly darkens and deafens and whispers "We Are Your Friends..."

Justice - We Are Your Friends (Something Wrong Bass Remix)

and then... then the pain stopped...

SO THEN WE ALL WENT OUT FOR PIE!

WEEEEE!!!!

Disco Trash Music in Yo Face

Disco Trash Music is back with some love for the blogs and all you out there in Blogreadingland (the land in which blogs are read and exalted).

Check out their takes on some Boy Noize action and the dance classic collection of C+C Music Factory, both very bass heavy and fidgesque (that which sounds like or contains very similar properties to "Fidget" House music).

That's right, I can coin my own terms too you know... Shakespeare did it, Yogi Berra did it, Colbert did it, and this guy is doing it too.

Also, Check out Dirty Trash Music on Freaks Me Out Records as well, they got some goodness up there as well.

Xavier De Rosnay At Webster Hall Was Mind Fucking

So I flew up to NYC for v-day with my girl friend. We got in late Friday night. I knew Xavier and Busy P were going to be playing at Webster Hall with Alex English, and my boy Reckless. So we got there. No tickets. Line, avenue to avenue. My friend Bryanna gets us in, don't have to pay anything and vip. So all night I'm kicking it back stage and on stage with Frankie Chan, Busy P, Alex English, and Xavier De Rosnay. Busy P had just started playing when we walked in and dropped a loop on Vampire Weekend's A-Punk, rolled it back and dropped the motha fucka. The whole club went nuts. I can't remember all the tracks that were played. But I know that Busy P dropped some nasty shit. Then Xavier came on and just tore the club a new ass hole. I've seen him dj a few times and he isn't always the greatest dj technically speaking. But he was flawless - just amazing.
Highlights from his set were his own tracks. And the Soulwax edit of 808 States - Cubik and Dominator. And some 90's track that I think may have been a basia b-side. I can't remember. I was shit faced.
Here are some photos we took. and that track above.

Justice & So Me Do Coke

I think that this pretty rad. Thanks Highsnobiety for this post. This is pretty cool. Maybe you don't like Coke, maybe you do. I don't by itself - but - with a few shots of Jack Daniels I can be down! I just love to see the impact that this scene has on pop culture. It's just crazy that a couple of dudes who made some banging electro/maimal/hipster shit got so big to the point where Justice surpasses Justin. Congrats on the Grammy. You guys deserved it.

Here is a sick dubstep track by Reso - which was number one the Beatport dubstep chart for a hot second.

Reso - If Ya Can't Beat Em

And a remix by So Me that Justice made popular in their sets.

GET YR JAMZ ON

Forgive me I haven’t been able to post anything recently because I was moving back across the country, times have changed and I am now back in FL! On my way down I stopped off to play in Charlotte NC (hats off to Your Dirty Habit and the whole SLZY CREW!) and Louisville KY where I ended up meeting Jesse Jamz (myspace). After talking it up with him for a bit and hearing his tracks I knew his sound was perfect for all you PM lovers! This dude has been at it since he was just 16 and now at age 21 he has played some of the best parties across the country including MisShapes (NYC), Dark Wave Disco (Chi), Live Forever (Philly), and the BLOW UP parties! Very soon he will be dropping an EPs worth of originals on us as well as remixes for Designer Drugs, Trash Yourself, and Eli Smith.

For now I have two treats… including a remix of Figures Steaks and Vodka. Enjoy!
