We're BAAAAACK

Holy Moly Guacamole we are f***ing back BABY! WOO HOO! Fuck you server companies trying to hold a "hipster" down. Well whatever either way we are back and here to stay. Usually I try to focus on just one artist and kind of "spotlight" them. But it's been awhile since you guys got anything fresh from us so here are 4 tracks with some (disco)variety.

First up is a fantastic track by Steroliner, and Earl and Turner called "Taurus." It uses a sample from Daft Punk's High Life!!!

From Athens, Greece is Poka. He has an amazing EP out on Beaport you should probably get. This is "Lonely" from that ep. It's a killer 80's electro disco house track! Makes my feet wiggle.

Lucky Miami Stars

Oh my goodness! Is WMC over? BOO! Why?!?!?! Oh well after a week of just insanity, and then a solid week and half of being sick recovering the weeks prior 24/7 debauchery I'm back. Now let's talk music for a moment if we can.

I know you guys have seen me talk about Swivel Hips before, and have played out their stuff quite a bit. Well I've been sitting on this track for a little bit for (what will be) obvious selfish reasons. It's a freebie they tossed out to the public via their Facebook Fan Page, and it's an obvious Disco-House remix of Madonna's "Lucky Star" that is just fantastic! I mean let's be honest Swivel Hips can do wrong, and he isn't going to start now.

Currently working on their new EP,  they have found time to play a pretty amazing show in Brooklyn (that I can't even begin to describe how jealous I am) with friend of the blog, VDRK for VDRK's birthday at Discovery in the basement of Santos Party House this Saturday, the 10th.
