Hey, guess what?

It's new tune time!

First up we have a tune that dropped about a week ago, a really good Spencer & Hill track remixed by Cold Blank. I've really been digging Cold Blank lately, his tracks are really simple but the bass lines are always massive.

Next we have a track by Chuckie and Hardwell featuring Ambush. Nice big room track, starts out electro and then kinda goes towards a techy vibe after the first break, then back to electro. The vocal sample seemed a little cheesy to me at first but it has grown on me and the lead to the main electro part is pretty banging.

The following track is a really good remix by Angger Dimas. It seems like whatever this guy touches lately turns into party music gold. This one has a delightful James Brown vocal sample in it. "IT'S PARTY TIME!"

Lastly we have a little mashup that I made last week. Great little mash of Daft Punk and Riva Starr, and while those two might not be the most creative combination they actually compliment each other quite well. Figure - Torture

So the wonderful Acid Jacks just dropped my new 'Torture' ep on their label Idiot House! The tittle track is called 'Torture' , I had the luck of getting remixes from Hostage , Udachi , and Noise Floor Crew!
Everyone from Ac Slater to Foamo has been playing out something from the ep! The 'Torture' Ep includes and bouncy B-Side called 'Bitches' that is a simple and dark good follow up to the main single. Just got the Team Jaguar Summer Tour video back from our boys of WeGlow Crew. Man, what a talented bunch of misfits they are. They are well on their way to running the South Florida video production game with their habits of shooting crazy videos of people like Aoki and befriending some famous faces...


They decided to come with me for 3 out of the 6 days of the tour, zipping and zagging around FL, shooting everything that moved on the dancefloor with their fancy cameras...
All for high fives and smiles...

NEW FREE HOSTAGE EP!

Everyone knows that Hostage is an unstoppable music-making beast of legendary proportions pumping out hit after hit, week in and week out. And he’s been a busy, busy boy since his Radio 1 Essential mix earlier in the summer, playing alongside Annie Mac at the Manchester Apollo, Rockness Festival and he set the Arcadia Afterburner stage at Glastonbury ablaze -literally! Not to be restrained in the slightest, he’s back with 2 killer new tunes on this, his first free Ep on Nightshifters.

With “Roll” we see Hostage shows us a slightly more subtle hand, well, that’s before the bass drops! With “The Ba$$” he’s back at his no-holds-barred-kicking-down-the-fucking-rave-door approach with one of the most ridiculous noise-bass drops you’ll hear this year. It’s massive!!

With tracks this good, we had to pull together some remixes to make a nice tidy package for you so we asked Samo Sound Boy to turn on his Bubblin machine to bring you a bouncy dancehall flavored remix of the lead track while Figure takes the bass for a wobbly thrill ride. Nightshifters honcho Dj Donna Summer smacks you with some garage-flavored orchestral-rave to round out the set. That’s not a genre you see too often, now is it?

Sunshine of Knas

They Are Your Computer...

Two new tracks to get your parties going, courtesy of Boston's hardest working Electrohouse/DnB/Partybanger producer/DJ/MC trio - Hot Pink Delorean.

The titular track, I Am Your Computer is a bit smoother than previous HPD tracks of the past, perfect party builder and the other, Spearshaker, is this tribal house-ish nasty with shouts, grunts and other Tarzan-esque yelps.

Smash Your Fucking Face Vol. 2

Smash Gordon is the mother fucking man. This guy runs literally almost every dubstep/drum&bass/electro/whatever the fuck else you can rave too party that matters on the east coast. He is back again with the second volume of his "Smash Your Fucking Face" series of mixes. This second mix lives up to it's name, and might even surpass the first mix in terms of sheer intensity. This mix is not for the light-hearted...basically if you are pussy you aren't gonna like this, but if you like your music to rip the roof of whatever building you are in then you are gonna love this mix.
