Team Jaguar's Mix for The PM Sessions

As you may or may not have heard, Penned Madness now has it's own exclusive show on Digitally Imported radio. The Penned Madness Sessions airs every 2nd and 4th Tuesday on Digitally Imported's Electro House Channel, 12pm till 2pm EST. We try to feature the best in Electro House and other types of party musics.

Last Tuesday Glowtape! and ourselves, Team Jaguar, tackled the show... and what a show it was! No less than a 1,000 listeners at any one time during the broadcast (a pretty good feat for this being our second show)

We Know All About Your Dirty Habit...

and we are completely OK with that.



Our boys hailing from Charlotte, NC - Your Dirty Habit - have just released a new mix and have been gracious enough to let us have a copy of it (along with an exclusive track...shhhhh.. more on that later).

Now this mix comes to us in a sort of family affair way. See, David and Eric (YDH) made this mix for our boy in Alabama, Urban Fabric, and his live radio show on 100.5FM in Birmingham.

Now it seems that the powers that be at 100.5FM aren't too keen on their programing format any more and are switching over to talk radio (something we always need more of)... and this has all happened right before Your Dirty Habit's massive mix was slated to air.

Lost and alone, we have been given this mix and have decided to raise it as our own, promote it here at PM.

Disco Down, Friends.

Here at Penned Madness we love us some Disco. By "love" I mean, "obsessively stalking you at the bar." Ahem... Anyway.

I thought I'd give you guys some of my favorite Disco-House jams! I figure this will keep any potential drinks in your hands out of my face, I mean .... Happy Monday!

First up is a track by a Maurice Tamaraz (aka Swivel Hips, which is the shit - btw) off his new ep. which samples Michael Jackson's Walk Right Now. It's catchy, deep and sexy. You can get the whole ep here on Beatport.

Second is by a personal favorite of mine, Moullinex out of Germany. This is just a happy little song that samples Shalamar's This Is For The Lover In You. It just makes me want to bosh with a lady! How come bosh isn't a popular term in music anymore? Stupid Eddie Halliwell and Mixmag for coining that and destroying it in one shot!

Mitsubitchi: A New Bobermann Experience

The Subs are by  no means a new band. I've been playing out their tracks ever since I first heard "Fuck That Shit." Their most recent single, Mitsubitchi isn't the newest thing by them but this remix is. Thank Joe Pesci that Bob Rifo (you know, that cat from The BB's) has decided to put his touch on this redonkulous track to make it even crazier!  It's going to kill homeless people, and rape minors on the dance floor. Be assured, people are going to sex to this. That's right, I said it - People are going to SEX to this. I posted the video, if you want the track go buy it on Beatport - or whatever other music purchasing site you use!

Ben Danner Presents...

I recorded this mix a few weeks ago for a local Tallahassee radio station, and I am fairly happy with how it turned out. It's only about 25 minutes long because my slot on the radio was only 30 minutes long, and they had to include a commercial. Although it's a short mix I still managed to cram 19 tracks of totally insane wobblyness into it. I did a disco house set for another local radio station that I will post soon (i.e. once they send the recording back to me...)
