So awhile ago Tommie Sunshine and Myself remixed this track for a contest..and some how it has just sat on our harddrives for 2 months not sent out , even though I have been playing it at about every show. This remix is nutty in the true sense of the word. It changes bpms like 4 or 5 times from 130 to 75 to 140 to 148 and back to 130. Not too many people have this , so consider this kind of a PM exclusive (airhorn!)
This past week Dim Mak released a remix album for Scanners' new single We Never Close Our Eyes. The album features seven different remixes, namely remixes from three of the most well known producer/DJ duos, Designer Drugs, Lazrtag, and Gooseflesh. HUGE! Although I highly suggest all three of the remix, I was most impressed by the Gooseflesh's take on the track. But then again, I seem to be partial to anything produced by Gooseflesh, so take that as you will.
All three remixes demonstrate and stay true to the different personal styles that Designer Drugs, Lazrtag, and Gooseflesh have become known for. We think it's safe to stay that each of the artists have discovered their 'own sound' and have successfully staked their claims as leaders in the Electronic music scene!
Mustard Pimp's new EP "Rock Paper Scissors” will be out exclusively on Beatport on June 15th and will be released everywhere else on June 29th, so pick it up!
Straight from Corsica, France, 20 year old NEUS has been making some big moves since the start of his producing career three years ago.
Already having the support from SebastiAn and Busy P of Ed Banger Records, NEUS is on his way to be a big name. Here are a couple of my favorite remixes and originals by NEUS, enjoy!
Personal apologies to Anna Kiss about quoting her here the other day. I was sent that quote by a friend after supposedly hearing it on her show on 5/11/10. It quite frankly made my day to hear something like that so I posted it here and twitter. I meant no harm by it and sincerely apologize for such unprofessional behavior.
