Lucky Disco

Not that Spencer & Hill need anymore hype or anything (after all they do pretty much own all of the top 100 beatport electro chart real estate), but this track is super solid. Total club banger from Twin Blood. Think Factory really did a great job remixing their track giving it a huge lead that goes along very well with the sick vocals that I wish we heard more of in today's club music. The MC on this track kinda reminds me of Jon from Hot Pink Delorean a little bit with his fun but highly impressive wordplay.

So about a month ago we had the pleasure of meeting a great dude and a great producer who we were playing a party with here in the good ol' 850. We would like to introduce to you, "S.Co", or Seth Cohen as he is known by his friends. This guy is a L.A. native and is producing some pretty killer tracks right now, and he ABSOLUTELY KILLS IT on the decks.

Filthy Rehab + Bass = Win!

Bass = Win is back again with a monster of a release from Filthy Rehab. If your not keen on Filthy Rehab , then you might be the only one in the world. Their tracks have been slashing through tons of big names sets and mixes for some time now.
The main track for me on this release is 'Reverie'. The drums are thrashing every which way but loose , rolling into a build up that might has well be the song itself. After you've kept your head intact ... the deep thick bass line kicks in and just causes Hell.

RESPECT POP MUSIC

If you are into "Indie Pop" then you should check this out. The intro kinda sounds like the metronome in ableton tuned to D-Minor with some reverb and digital distortion on it. Kinda neat.
