We would like to introduce our readers to a Tallahassee, FL native that has been doing big things as of late. Opening for large acts such as Skrillex and Steve Aoki, playing the main stage at EDC, and even supporting Wiz Khalifa as his live DJ at multiple concerts, DJ Crespo is undoubtedly starting to make his mark on the music industry. We expect nothing but superb things from this guy in the future. Check out his hour long DJ Mix below. It may be his official guide for your spring break but it's still relevant, and a solid mix.
From up-and-coming darlings SPF 5000, we have their recently released single "White Hot Fantasy." From Boston by way of NYC, SPF 5000 are ready to stake their claim on the dancefloor. Amy Douglas and Rob Phillips, those that form the SPF 5000, are no strangers to the topical musical community though.
Amy has been featured on Supra 1’s “Still Believe” and AC Slater’s Rave Super-group 92 Eternal to “Miracle Mile” by the Annex Project for KULT Records. While Rob's time at the Berklee School of Music’s "Music Synthesis" Department and his love for the NYC dance scene over the years has translated into these dirty dance production skills and refreshing insight into dance culture.
Hailing from Orlando, Trick Folexxx stands to become a familiar name soon enough. Both remixes and originals from this duo are already getting love across the internets from our fellow bloggers.
Formed in the summer of 2010, the duo of Alex "Spanky" and Frank Gutierrez. bring both EDM and hip-hop influences to their productions. With their big room energy feel, dirty basslines, and versatility; Trick Folexxx is poised to be in your crates sooner than you think.
Too Young To Love were signed to EMI Publishing last year following the success of both of their single releases selling out in independent record stores in the UK and abroad in a month.
The Italian based band coin themselves Psychedelic Dream Pop and site influences from Bjork, fever Ray and Health. During the past two years they shared the stage with The Big Pink, Late of the Pier, These New Puritans, Alex Kapranos, Caribou, We Have Band, Kap Bambino, Yacht, Cold Cave, Teenagers, Baby Monster, to name a few.
Our boy and founder of the kick-ass music/fashion/industry blog "Wet Paint," JeRK has sent us his recent mixtape and we would like to share it with you. JeRK is leaving the sunshine state and heading to Chi-Town USA in the next few days, switching it up just a bit.
Keep your eyes open Chicago, he's coming for you...

So it's almost summer time and I felt like I have been hearing so much great summery electro house that I needed to put together a new F*** The Heat! So it's got some tribal electro, some dutch house, some banger shit from Designer Drugs, some big room house from Arno Cost, and a new original by me! Not to mention a shit ton of edits, and a new mash up. Sounds about right, and since last time I made the mix a bit shorter and caught some flack for it - this one comes in nicely at 61 odd minutes. Hope you enjoy this, as much as I do! Also there are some free goodies with in the track list, enjoy ;-)!

Us, like many of you of out there in dance-land, have fallen under the spell of Dava Nada's "Moombahton" enchantments.
If you don't know, Moombahton in a nut shell is fuckin' rad. Simple as that. It's sexy swagger style has hypnotized crowds for the past year or so and it doesn't look like it's stopping anytime soon
Not only DJs and appreciators are behind this movement but people, real life non-DJ people are taking notice as well ... Shit, even NPR has taken notice - "Moombahton: Born In D.C., Bred Worldwide" Kinda crazy awesome huh?
Well we are equally enthralled, so below are some Moombahton edits that Team Jaguar has made and we would like to share with you!
If you are a fan of Moombahton... or wild sex pot music in general... you should enjoy these...
In celebration of our wonderful governor denying a 2 billion dollar government grand that would provide the citizens of Florida a public mass transit system (also known as "BAD ASS FUTURE TRAINS"), Team Jaguar brings you their first all dubstep mixtape.
We aren't sure if 'ol "Ricky Boy" is actually a fan of dubstep or not but we assume that because of his aggressive and unforgiving nature that he would... also we didn't even bother to check.
Two tracks from the mix are available for download below, hope you enjoy...

Besides sounding like a new villain on Dr. Who, there's not much to go on about "The Get."
Only info provided is from his soundcloud page "Producer and general scallywagish music bum. Loves long walks on the beach, bow hunting, donkey play, and steamed mussels"
and from his music itself... You'll see it speaks volumes on ace production and song structure.
The Internet this is "The Get," "The Get," The Internet - Go Be Friends.
Hailing from Chicago as well as the land of "one of the most cleverest project names ever-istan" come our friends Just.One.Duran.
Their last mixtape, "Push For Service Vol II," is a great service to all those lovers of true house music out there. Definitely much more relaxed stuff than what we normally post here, but I think you will enjoy.
Three members of the PM extended family are entered in the most recent Lollapalooza DJ contest, hosted by DO312 - a Chicago-centric "EVERYTHING YOU WANTED TO DO BUT MAY NOT KNOW ABOUT" blog.
Our Sex Cult boy Alvin Risk has just made one of the newest 'DJ favorite' tracks. Getting love from Designer Drugs, Skrillex and Tittsworth, this remix of indie darlings Matt & Kim is a riot.
Telling you blog-kids, keep an eye out for Alvin Risk in the next year. He IS one of your favorite DJ/Producer's favorite DJ/Producers.
It's summer. Which ultimately means that we will find ourselves enjoying the outdoors more. More specifically and adoringly the pool. The pool is a principal environment for choice house and disco music. The pool is suitable for tunes that are not too weighty, or too sonorous. Tunes like the ones below.
Hey guys! So I could really use some help and support - if you'd be kind to help a brother out. I have decided to enter one of these fancy Mixcloud competitions. This one is being brought to us by the fantastic label behind the DJ Kicks compilations, !K7 Records and Beatport. It's being judged by the too-hot-too-trot deep house champions from Boston, Soul Clap.
The theme of the mix was to make a mix-tape for the "Brokenhearted." The only deal was that the first and the last track had to be on !K7 Records.
I wanted to make it feel like the different stages of a heartbreak/break up. With some initial shock joy that you get when you first think you are free! Then kind of builds into resent, and bitter drunk black outs. Then back out of it and hopefully back into something new, fresh and beautiful.
So please take 30 minutes out of your (work)day to check it out. If you dig, favorite it! Leave a comment so I know how awesome you are!
I have always loved the original Wayne Wonder track, it always reminds me of senior year highschool hanging out on the beach skipping class. Productive, much? DJ Ayres does it justice on this killer Moombahton rub.
