"Aight fuckers, Check out Sex Cult keeping shit real with a new release from Hussle Club. Led by the magnificent Prince Terrence, Hussle Club is one of NYC's rawest underground bands, not to mention that Terrence is by far the best dj in the Lower East Side. This release features remixes from frat house duo Designer Drugs, dubtep's fourloko representatives, PLS DNT STP, gutterhouse bad boys, Your Dirty Habit, and New Zealand's contemporary experimental shoe-gaze post goth-step trio, Mellow Grave. Download it and go fuck yourself. xoxo -Sex Cult"
So I'm off to Australia for the month of July and playing a couple dates while I'm there!
Obviously I'm super excited and I decided to put out a promo mix kind of showcase what people are in store for! Lets say its 42 minutes of Jungle-Rave-Bass music. Woop Woop!
Party Info:
Summer just got started and it's hot as fuh. Check out Amtrac's new summer mix, a nice and smooth eclectic mix of tracks from Metronomy to The Count & Sinden. Stream and download it below!
Second round of voting for the Lollapalooza Remix Contest is upon us and THREE of Sex Cult's artists have made it to this other round. Alongside 50 other talented DJs and Producers from across the country, this contest is really anyone's game.
This is the first release from The Squatters, entitled "What's Your Status?," in contains two original productions - "Cardiac" and "Fluffer."
"Cardiac" is a bit of heavyweight big room fun that contains all the key elements for a strong party sound - colossal bass, epic breakdowns & a minimal yet bouncy hook.
On the B Side we have the bravely named track "Fluffer". More electric fun with a lead line that will twist minds and a classic organ sound that will raise hands in any crowded situation. Both these tracks will be highlights of any dancefloor excursion.
Release date 20th June 2011. Available on all major download stores such as iTunes, Beatport etc...
Check out the tracks below, comments are welcomed!
Here's some great moombahton songs we've been digging lately. Found them all on this little blog, Moombah-Thong - it's worth a click over I assure you.
So 21 years young, KROOL KICKZ, a personal friend of mine out of Vienna, Austria who goes by the name of Dom Kardashian (no relation - I hope...) is the label owner of Dreieck Records (dreieck-records.com) home of some of the hardest hitting electro acts on the planet: Geometry, PARTYSMARTIE and one of my favorites Wasted Basterds (who I did a remix for that is coming out soon on Dreieck Records - stay tuned!)
Anyway, it's time for the boss to get in on some of the producing and djing action. And he does not disappoint. After years of schooling to perfect is his engineering craft he has finally decided to let world hear his sound! He's given us a FREE remix that he just did of the Florida native, Marilyn Manson's This Is The New Shit. This is straight mosh pit rave music, sure to make the entire dance floor burn down!
And not only is he giving that away, he's also giving away his new promo mix which as you can tell by his remix, its nothing short of hell raising madness! BASS BOOSTERS ON PEOPLE! LETS GO!
Interesting enough if you haven't heard Adele - Rolling in The Deep, where have you been? More importantly if you haven't been following Que Serock, here is your chance to step back from that ledge my friend, to quote Third Eye Blind. Since their success bootlegging The Faint and massive rework of Peace Treaty's Change, they've been remixing for labels such as Rot10 Music, Club Cartel, and Jigsaw Records. Currently finishing up remixes for Dynasty (Etc!Etc! and Mr. Vega collab) which will be released under the highly respected Top Billin' Records.
Now they bring their fans a fun and free new banger that includes a catchy and melodic sample from Adele. This bass heavy rhythm is sure to get any dancefloor shaking and moving. Keep up with their music at soundcloud.com/queserock and follow their twitter at queserock.
These two boys out of Los Angeles, CA are sure to be playing big festivals in 2012. Don't miss out. Hit the arrow to download the track for free. Happy Tuesdays!
