The Pioneer CDJ 2000

If you know me, then you know I gave up on vinyl about 5 - 6 years ago, and never looked back. I was introduced to the Pioneer cdj 1000 mkI and I fell in love with it. All the insane things you could do that you could never do unless you had like 4 turntables and multiple copies of the same record (plus your name was A-Trak). Looping, reverse, digital beat counters (which save me so much time). Then the MKII came out and I thought, "Oh no, how could this get any better?" But it did with the MKIII. The MKIII had the ability to read mp3 discs, platter adjustment, a brighter and more detailed display. But all minor changes in the grand scope of things. Here is the new Pioneer CDJ 2000. This will change the way we dj. I'm not sure if I'm jumping on the bandwagon just yet - but I do know that its going to happen if I like it or not. I know I can't afford them yet - but when the time is right I will get them and I will be VICTORIOUS (we are, he is).

I love my 1000's but I was blown away by some of the new features and that high res screen, time for some new decks.

well I mean i'm not hating on vinyl - i mean you know i have an absurd and ever growing collection of it. And if things like serato or traktor or whatever had existed back when i made the switch i probably wouldn't have. but who knows. lol

I'm a straight up Traktor user myself but I have to admit, this is totally amazing. They thought of basically everything.

Should have a motor in it like the Denon decks.

I'll take a some 1200's and Serato over this anyday.

Hi everybody, this is just my opinion. For me a good dj need good machine for making good music and sure !! he must have talents. I,ve got a cj1000, a serato with my two technics. Serato for me is a real revolution for dj's who likes vynil and need to be original in their mix.i've just bought two new denon 3700 and we must be honest denon has made a great machine because the spinnig platter is fabulous, it's not only for the esthetic but it is really like the technics for scrathing and you hsve media connection and usb too. For me a real revolution is not only in design !!! because you put a lcd screen so what ? the only real revolution with the cdj 2000 is the touch pad , yes mr pio this is a good option. You can put 4 pio together ? i want to see the guys who will be able to buy 4 cdj 2000, and i 'm sure club will never do that !! So guys real dj don't look at the display first, but they look at the option on the machine , the endurance !!! because good dj's need to be original not only the "show off".
