You know you've found a great release when efforts to write about it are constantly interrupted by headbanging. The new full-length by Lo-Fi Bitches is one such example. These Israel-natives have been putting out singles on the numerous but superb Shax Trax compilations for a while now but this collection of many previously unheard tracks is a real brain melter. In the decent list of impressive LPs this year (Justice, ZZT, Jan Driver, SebastiAn, Slice & Soda), Asylum is unquestionably 2011's underground hit for me. I'm going to stop writing so that you'll stop reading. Go listen. Right meow.
