Girl Talk on WVFS 89.7FM

Ok, so before Girl Talk blew up the fuck up, before Night Ripper became an instant classic, and way before Feed the Animals, Greg Gillis came out and opened for Man Man during the V89 WVFS Tallahassee 19th Brithday Bash on 10/16/06. That's right, 2006, before he was headlining every show he played, Girl Talk rocked our college radio station party...

Greg Gillis came to our radio station about 4 hours before his performance and gave us all in Tallahassee a taste of what was to be heard. So, here is that performance... and to those that were at the show at the Club Downunder in October remember how much effort and love was put into the performance that night... The end Nirvana number was glorious...

It's one of those great glimspes on how far he has come as a "producer" and showman. It's glitchy, it's broken, it's rebuilt, it's awesome, and it's right here...

New Girl Talk Album - Here!

"Feed the Animals" is the new title of Pittsburgh native Greg Gillis' newest musical mash-up endeavor. Mr. Gillis or, as you might know him, Girl Talk has taken the party by storm over these past few years and with his fourth album, he intends to keep partying for much much longer.
Now I know a lot of traditional DJs give this man shit for playing on a computer, but fuck it, it's a good ole time. The time and energy put into mixing all these clips together is tremendous and we all know it. I am downloading the album as we speak... It's FREE through Illegal Art but donations are welcomed... I personally gave the $10 dollars plus shipping for a hard copy of the album when it comes out...
