Brooklyn based party artists Designer Drugs will be hitting the Florida scene here in August, bringing with them their special brand of fire and intensity. These two electric hooligans will be hitting various stops around our fine state during the dog days of summer, including: Orlando, Miami, Gainesville and Tallahassee (dates not confirmed yet). Their certain flair makes them a mixtape favorite, and actually a Designer Drugs track was included in the latest Frankie Chan Mix for IHEARTCOMIX/NLLR we posted yesterday. Make sure you go grab that, its a good one. I recently caught up with Michael of Designer Drugs during an AIM conversation for an impromptu interview:
Manley (7:36pm): You wouldn't happen to have a mix I could post on my blog to promote for August would you?
Michael (7:38pm): Yeah sure, hold on.

Just saw Manley's blog post and I couldn't help but click the mix. This mix has a great tracklist with a style of its own. Designer Drugs, kick ass job. I feel myself listening this a few times over in the same day already... Look forward to your Tallahassee visit!!!
