Dem boys are at it again, Michael and Theo of Designer Drugs are back with a new dancefloor killer, "Dark Circles." Originally by Tri-State area heart stopper, Avian X, "Dark Circles" by DD is a prime example of how to make a dance track. Solid beat, thumbing bass, well placed yet random samples and in key use of vocals... Honestly, I had not heard of dear Avian X until this remix and my interest is peaked...
And for that fact alone, I believe both parties succeed in their goals. Avian X attains some more listeners and Designer Drugs has one more track of theirs bumpin' cross the globe... Well played folks, well played indeed.

About The Madness
Excluding wars, deadly vegetables and pigs with colds...
It is a good time to be alive people.
Dance music is bigger than ever nowadays. New Producers and DJs are popping up all over the place. Dance Parties have become a staple of downtown scenes and weekly routines everywhere... All coming together to help create a more eclectic and richer musical experience.
But what if one day the parties stopped?
Dance Party analysts from Cambridge have predicted that in the next coming years people will "get over" dancing and will become "meh" in regards to DJs and remixes.
Here at Penned Madness, our aim is to keep the party going - to prevent such a dancefloor dystopia. We have assembled a crack team of up and coming DJs from all over the nation, dedicated to the task of bringing the good people of the dancefloor-be it club or bedroom-the jams they want to hear.
With a small contribution of viewing our website daily or signing up to our RSS feed, you too can help save the music and dancefloors all across this great land

Not DD's best, unfortunately. They seem a bit off on their remix game lately.
You really think so? I don't think they are off their remix game per se, but focusing on other avenues (like making original tracks)...
I mean, "Drak Circles" is no "Throw it Away" but I think it's a solid track... definitely better the Velvet Code one, that's for sure...
yea just wait till those hot bangin originals come out and play..... :)
i can't wait for the dirty!!!
I think some of the newer remixes do sound different but I'm excited to hear them experimenting with different styles. I bet this track goes off in the club.
the tigersapien remix is fucking HARD!!!
I just love the music!
natalia is fucking hot<3
ilyyy!
This song is boring, its fine if ya just wanna move to something, anything, but seriously, this is definately nuthin' new under the Sun. Its a basic KLF rip. Natalia has a great voice and some cool tunes, you wouldnt know it tho, because she's on a disco loop here.Take this as just an opinion, at the most, con. crit., I'm not trying to bag on anyone. I just kept waiting for sumthin' 2 happen, and it never really went anywhere.I wish Natalia/Avian(why did she change her name, Natalia's a cool name) and DD good wishes.
...and Lords of Acid....
sick remix!
would love to stop asking yourself why I changed my name from Natalia to Avian x? read about it in my blog at Myspace.com/avianxmusic
Manley-thank you for posting and your kind words :)love the remix! :) Designer Drugs rule :)
