So I'm back in the 561 after a very awesome weekend in Tallahassee with my amazing peoples. Menace Beach was insane and you guys really make me a happier human being. Menace Beach 7-24-09

A couple Friday's ago was Menace Beach. It was easily one of my top 4 favorite parties, and at least for now my favorite set of all time! I could go into the awesomeness that was that night but, why speak about things when we have the audio to share.

There are two issues. One, is that I missed the first like 15 minutes of Shane Lockard's set. And only about 40 minutes of my set was recorded. Which sucks, but whatever the rest of the night was amazing!

Last Japan Yo

So this past Monday I had the extreme pleasure of having one of my favorite up-and-coming producers/djs on my show, TransAtlantic (on Digitally Imported), Last Japan!!!!! So if you haven't noticed, here at PM we like Last Japan's music a lot! So not only am I posting my mix from the show, as well as his butttttt I'm also posting a brand new single from him.

Let's talk about this song for a moment. Because I'm digging it. It's a song he did with Crispin J Glover and a new young vocalist out of the UK named Kay Young. It's pretty fat hip-hop electro with some chop synths, minor wobbles and bmore flavor flav. I personally can't wait to drop this heat at the next Menace Beach!!!

I'm not going to lie, I'm still a little nervous about posting this. Even as I type this I'm doubting even pressing "publish post." But I feel pretty confident that you might like this. In fact I wasn't going to post this at all, but the overwhelming response made me feel like people will enjoy this.

Let's just cut right to it. This past Friday I played at the very awesome Menace Beach party thrown by our boss man Mannes. For this special occasion I decided that I wanted to have a special track to play. It just so happens that this is the song. A remix I made simply to play as my last song. All I remember is the whole club just going off! So I hope you enjoy it. It isn't mastered. I don't care. It sounded fine to me and to everyone else in the club that night. Besides you are getting it at 320 - pffftttttt stop bitching :D
