So you may remember when we did a post a while back on Boston's SPF 5000 and their single White Hot Fantasy that Team Jaguar did a remix of. Well they have a new single coming out, officially called "P.O.T.S." (aka "Put Your Pussy On This Shit" .. or "Pussy" for short). The EP will have the original of P.O.T.S., plus remixes of P.O.T.S. from Scottie B & DJ Sega - plus a juke mix from Mr Vega (of Sazon Booya/head of Rot10 Muzik).
Supporting this EP are a few remixes of White Hot Fantasy that we all thought would be better to put out with the second single. My (GlowTape!) remix and two other remixes from iHeartComix head honcho, Franki Chan and Top Billin artist Chauffeur. This ep is going to be nuts! Get it everywhere on September 16th!

So it tis Miami Music Week (aka. Ultra Week, aka. Old WMC). ahem. Anyway. I know I just dropped a new March Promo a little while back with some exclusive tracks - but I have a new one to give away!
Now this is by no means an original idea, BUT, I wanted to have something to play in the sun for fun with all my peoples, so I decided to do a kind of updated-throw-back-1990's Rave remix of the ever so classic Gypsy Woman by Crystal Waters. Hey Interwebz World. Here are a few bangers ranging from Techno to Electro to monster Disco House!
Our first is from a gentleman who goes by the name of Yujene Veniaminson who is a nasty Techno/Minimal producer from Russia. Check out on of his latest bombs that we know go off huge in any dark venue.
Working our way up the danceometer, is a disco house monster by none other then Coach Roebuck of New York. Mars is the kind of the disco house you could start a riot with. Very Hautttt [lolz]
The last but definitely not least track of the day is a keytar lovers fantasy originally written by The Black Spirit, with a remix by the infamous and amazing Blastaguyz. It's synth-a-licious (I'm not apologizing for saying that), and because it reminds me of Yellow Magic Orchestra it has found a special place in my heart (via iTunes).
I haven't made a new mix since F*** The Volume 3, and I was missing my more frequent trips down to South Beach, so I decided to make a new Miami Nights. This one is in the same vibe as the original but maybe a little darker, with a killer intro track from South Florida's (though they are based out of Brooklyn now) Young Circles and some other great Gems from the likes Robyn (via an A-Trak remix), Mylo, Vancouver Klub, Uffie, Swivel Hips, and more!

I'm pretty stoked about it. It's a 40 minute mix of baby-punching madness. With some new shit and some "old" shit all tossed into the pot I hope it won't disappoint!
It's still a hot summer here in So. Florida, which means it's still party time. This is just a little something I cooked up for fun. Actually it's because I had just seen Santan live (he did a killer cover of the original Cream track) the day after I had downloaded Knas, and thought it might work for the festival kids. So hate it, love it. It's just some summertime fun yo.
So my bff Breezy B out of NYC has a pretty killer mix. It's hipster. It's electro. Most of all - it's fun. Yeah I had my hand in this - so you know its killer (no-ego lol). Aight, get this crazy goodness, and enjoy your splendiferous weekend!!!!
I'm sorry, but this had to be done! We wanted to share the original but felt we'd get fucked up the ass by lawyers - so I felt this was the best next thing. So far the small collective of people who pre-approved this loved it! And I hope you do too!

Oh man, so its time for WMC again. I can't believe its really fucking here!!! I've got a slew of activities this week starting tonight at the Subdrive vs eXposure party at the White Room!! Lets talk about this for a second.

Tonight at The White Room in Down Town Miami is the super amazing Subdrive and eXposure Eve of WMC Showcase with some of the best dj's in the country. We got Cobra Krames, Terror Dactel, Mike Mago, Mr. Vega, Solomon Grande, Charlie Tippie. We also have my boys from the eXposure/Spider Pussy crew, Al B Rotten and Johnny Strokes as well as myself and co-blogger and dj/producer extraordinaire, Figure. On top of all this musical mayhem Subdrive and the good people at Kill Shop Kill are going to have fucking killer merch and giveaways at the show.
So final analysis: Amazing music, great people, chaos on the dance floor, plus good drinks and some free goodies = Yo' ass better be there TONIGHT!

It's Malente's new disco electro monster, I Like It, taking KC & The Sunshine's classic and turning it into a dance floor destroyer! But what you are getting today is my own personal edit of it. I love the original but really love the Riva Starr remix more - but what I felt it was missing was Malente's crazy synth buildup. So I just did an edit and there you go. Enjoy! AND BUY THE EP DAMNIT!
