100th Post and Bears in Space!
Like what High Schoolers say when they hit their long awaited graduations, "we did it!" But in all honesty, like said High Schoolers, we didn't do much. We just rambled on these internets thrice a day about shit we love...though I do feel a certain sense of pride hitting 100 posts. And we have a number of vibrant new contributors, I can't wait to see the numbers at the one anniversary and what the future has in store for your Penned Madness Heroes...

That, my dear right-clickers is what scientists call a Tardigrade or as Professor Layman puts it, a "Water Bear." These bears, like their land cousins of normal size earth, are godless creatures. Though they aren't the number one threat to our country, they spit into the eye of any big guy in the sky by being nigh indestructible... read more!

"They are the toughest animals on the planet - and now scientists have discovered that they can even survive in space...Some experts have compared their shape with jelly babies or moles but tardigrades they should not be judged by their 'cute' appearance. They are virtually indestructible - they will not die even if they are boiled, frozen, squeezed under pressure or desiccated... In fact, they can be completely dried out for years - and then spring back to life as if nothing had happened.
Now researchers have revealed that tardigrades - which usually measure no more than a millimetre in length and live in moss - have withstood the airless extremes of space. A year ago, 3,000 of them were dried out and fired into space to see if they could handle the cosmic rays, a near vacuum and freezing cold. Amazingly, after ten days, some of them did. They became the first animals to survive exposure in space without protection."
How fuckin' cool is that? This creature could be something we use to (and mind you this is a long term plan) start life on other planets. Couple of these bad chickens shot out into space could help us propagate life on other worlds...in like 4 billion years.

Well to accompany these timeless creatures, I have included some remixes of tracks that, like the Water Bear, will never die and even after lying dormant for so long...have risen anew.
These next three tracks are straight blog robs from Palms Out, but man oh man, are they good. Seriously this past Remix Sunday (127) has been like my favorite ever.

Bird Peterson - Don't Touch Me remix and others
So a few days ago, I saw some bulletins on the myspaces announcing a new remix from one of my personal favorites, Bird Peterson of Austin Texas. The new track in question was a remix of Busta Rhymes' latest single, "Don't Touch Me." "The Godfather of the Club Banger" himself, Busta has succeed in making himself one fine banger, in which Bird decided to turn into a disgusting mess of awesome. Thanks to Palms Out for getting this track and feeding it to all of us...
Like the Mama bird of internet dance music for many of us eager bloggers... Palms Out is there...
Here's the Busta jam and some other choice ones as well, a Wu-Tang edit (little old but still sick and just released on vinyl) and a Bird classic, a remix of The Who from the EP "...plays other people's popular jams with computers."
