Edu K on ze Amtrak

Huoratron Owns You.

I've been listening to Huoratron for a little over a year now, and I didn't think that his music could get any crazier/nastier/more amazing, but this track has proven me wrong. I cannot wait to play this out, I've been bumping it in my bedroom all day. This is pure Electro/Indie Dance (or whatever you wanna call it) gold.

Huoratron will melt your effing face off, record the sound that it makes, chop that sound up, and then turn it into a bass line.


P.S.

I took Figure's advice and bought that Louis La Roche EP that just dropped on Beatport, and I suggest that you do the same. It's great to listen to while you are laying in your bed drinking homemade cider. Not to mention that every track on it is also absolutely perfect for an opening DJ set.

Sound of Blue

I found this track about a week ago, and honestly I had never heard of the original artist or the remixer until I heard this track, but whoever they may be I am certain of one thing...they make killer space disco. Unlike most space disco tracks of late, the bass line is nice and gritty, giving it a slight electro feel. My hat comes off to Valid Evidence and Blue Satellite.

I've been slacking majorly in the blogging department. School is really kicking my ass...literally mate.

Whats up world. It's been a minute. Life's been crazy and I've been travelling around doing my thang. But I don't want you all to think I forgot about you. Here's one of my favorite jams from October. The original track is by Gizelle Smith out of the UK and it's amazing in her own right. You should really get her album. It's awesome. (Get it Here). But IMO, (and thats why you are reading this, duh) is that the TM Juke remix is just perfect. He even puts a lo-fi vocal effect on the hook to make it sound warmer and more vintage. It's just got a great "Hey lets roller-skate!" vibe.
