So the wonderful Acid Jacks just dropped my new 'Torture' ep on their label Idiot House! The tittle track is called 'Torture' , I had the luck of getting remixes from Hostage , Udachi , and Noise Floor Crew!
Everyone from Ac Slater to Foamo has been playing out something from the ep! The 'Torture' Ep includes and bouncy B-Side called 'Bitches' that is a simple and dark good follow up to the main single. Go grab them all on Beatport HERE , or be a cheapo and download the original off my soundcloud! There is a remix ep of about 8 remixes of Torture coming out in a couple weeks. A Case of the Mondays

I'm tired. I'm cranky. I don't want to be in this fucking office.

So to brighten up my mood some I thought I post some jamz for you guys to make your day better.

First is a new one by Loose Shus called Total Fox. Its a great summer up beat 80's styled jam. I've been personally hammering it out. I think I played it in my mix for todays show on Digitally Imported (with special guest Figure). These San Fran-disco-ers know how to party.

Lights, Passion, Action!

Everybody has been going on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on......

about Passion Pit. Which is fine. I never personally caught the bug since I've been just spacing out to Faze Action and shit lately. But I'm starting to reconsider that notion. I'm happy to say our dear friend and fellow blogger Figure's roommate, Action Jackson has possibly made me a believer. I'm not saying he's some sort of evangelist producer - but he might be on to something.

His remix of Sleepyhead is stuck in my head like cigarette tar to a finger. And I like it. It's got this fantastic old school electro feel - and by electro, I mean REAL ELECTRO (nod to the Grow on that one). With his high hat arrangements giving some serious nods to Africa Bambaatta's Planet Rock and some serious 808 claves and congas to make any throw back break-dancer happy. Throw that in the blender with the haunting chipmunk-esq vocals from the original and some B-More stabs, you might have the perfect jammy jam.

In tennis something like this would be called an Ace.

GET YR JAMZ ON

Forgive me I haven’t been able to post anything recently because I was moving back across the country, times have changed and I am now back in FL! On my way down I stopped off to play in Charlotte NC (hats off to Your Dirty Habit and the whole SLZY CREW!) and Louisville KY where I ended up meeting Jesse Jamz (myspace). After talking it up with him for a bit and hearing his tracks I knew his sound was perfect for all you PM lovers! This dude has been at it since he was just 16 and now at age 21 he has played some of the best parties across the country including MisShapes (NYC), Dark Wave Disco (Chi), Live Forever (Philly), and the BLOW UP parties! Very soon he will be dropping an EPs worth of originals on us as well as remixes for Designer Drugs, Trash Yourself, and Eli Smith.

For now I have two treats… including a remix of Figures Steaks and Vodka. Enjoy!
